Marjie Zacks is the author of three humorous books – It All Ends Up in a Parfait Glass: A Tribute to My Mother's Wisdom; Tales from The Curio Cabinet; and What I Wish I'd Said: and Other Things That Keep Me Up at Night. She delights readers with stories of family, foibles, and the indignities and wisdom of aging. She grew up in small town Ontario, moving She has and undergraduate degree in Sociology with further studies in Psychology. At the age of fifty she went back to obtain her Master of Arts in Education. For thirty-eight years she worked in public relations in corporate and not-for-profit sectors, health care and community building. Writing is her second career. She is also a popular public speaker. Marjie lives in the Toronto area with her husband, and their Soft-coated Wheaten terrier. She loves dogs, travels and all things chocolate. Her fourth book Blessings of My Dog: A Better Human You Will Never Find is due out Summer 2026.
